Keith Leads One of Most Successful Dem Offices in AZ
Keith Brekhus, our field organizer for Navajo and Apache counties, runs one of the most successful campaign offices in Arizona, organizing the work to make it easy, comfortable and fun for the volunteers.

We are on track to produce our "win number" of votes needed by the congressional and statewide campaigns. But we could use more volunteers in the final weeks to run up the score in case other areas fall short.

Hopi Early Voting Increases 1900 Percent
Early voting on the Hopi Reservation increased 1900 percent thanks to a coordinated effort by the Ann Kirkpatrick campaign, the Hopi Tribe voter registration office, the Arizona Democratic Party and the Navajo County Democrats.

Only four people took advantage of early voting during the primary, but the number increased to 83 for general election early voting on Thursday, Oct. 9

First poll shows DuVal ahead, while Ducey leads most others
For the first time, a publicly released poll of the Arizona governor�s race showed Democrat Fred DuVal in the lead.

The live-caller poll, conducted on Oct. 7-8 by Oregon-based Moore Information, a respected GOP pollster, showed DuVal leading Republican nominee Doug Ducey 39-36. Libertarian candidate Barry Hess had 3 percent of the vote, Americans Elect candidate John Lewis Mealer had 1 percent and 21 percent were undecided.

Early voting will be held in Whiteriver from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tribal employees get time off to vote. Food and entertainment will be provided.
